Xocofest

This new event offers a cocoa market, chocolate-related workshops, tastings, food and wine pairings, live m,usic and children's shows. In total, more than thirty free proposals in the space of the former fire station.

 

The first Chocolate Fair was officially inaugurated with the visit of the authorities, headed by the Consul Major, Conxita Marsol; the head of the Government, Xavier Espot; and the general trustee, Roser Suñé. In total, about 3,000 servings of chocolate were distributed free of charge among the public. The first day of the Xocofest, in addition, has been enlivened on the stage enabled with the music of the group The Soundsets.

 

The parish is transformed these days around the Xocofest site in an imaginary world of chocolate booths, rabbits and Easter eggs. The program of activities of this new event of dynamization to enjoy during the Easter vacations, and that wants to be an attraction for the national public and for visitors, includes about thirty free and varied proposals around chocolate. Until Easter Monday (April 18) all the proposals will be concentrated every afternoon and until dusk in the space of the old fire station, parallel to the Meritxell Avenue and the confluence of the commercial axis of Riberaygua and Travesías.

 

You can visit the Cocoa Market, participate in cooking activities related to chocolate, tastings and pairings or tattoo workshops and cosmetics with cocoa, and enjoy live music with groups of the country, children's theater, storytelling and magic shows.

 

One of the most colorful activities took place on Saturday, April 16, starting at 5 p.m.: the parish logo will be created in large format and attendees will be able to take away a piece of it.

 

Conxita Marsol has celebrated the good reception that has had the sample this first day, with a large volumethe  of public. The major consul has indicated that for the Common one the moment has arrived to promote the events that return to make the citizens go out in the street and to promote the relations. The Xocofest, in fact, is just the starting point of a very intense spring of activities that will take place in different parts of Andorra la Vella.

 

The Chocolate Fair counts, at the same time, with the involvement of the commercial sector, as well as the Association of traders of Riberaygua and Traveseras, which promotes the raffle Take away the prize of the golden egg, with which about sixty establishments in the neighborhood will draw prizes through QR codes that will be placed in the shop windows.
